I've been paying off my loan via a redirection on my benefit for a few years and called Avanti Finance in October 2017 to check the balance.
When speaking to a customer service rep he told me my account had already been finalised and closed back on 7th December 2016 and they were still receiving my weekly payments (which Avanti Finance finally stopped taking, last payment date was 22nd December 2017) that add up to 54 weeks in total of overpayments.
I talked to, and emailed an Accounts manager who did deposit 2 sums of money into my account but there is definately a big gap missing! 15 weeks of my refund was missing!
I've tried calling and emailing and talking to different "Account Managers" about getting a copy of my payment history but was told by Avanti that they dont have it as they now have a different provider? What on earth does that mean?
Since then I've been given nothing but the big run around by Avanti Finance and I'm sick of it!
I have documents proving my payments went to Avanti Finance and call recordings with these so called "Account Managers" who cant see my payment history but can guess how much my refund is??? Some one please help me, I cant afford a lawyer
