EES installed an external Hydrohero hot water cylinder at our house in September 2015. It failed within one week. It was six weeks before they managed to replace the cylinder with an indoor unit and an "engineer-designed" cowling. The cylinder did manage to work using the auxiliary element but the heat pump section did not run. On 25 December 2017, the cylinder stopped working. I rang the EES 0800 number early on December 26 and was told they were contacting the on-call serviceman to look at the cylinder. Two days later - without hot water - I am still awaiting this phone call. At present the reception person tells me that the company is closed until January 10 - a further two weeks without hot water. As the machine is still under warranty, I am loathe to call anybody else, particularly as the fault code does not even exist in the manual....This company was very receptive until the day I paid them. Since that time they have been very reticent to reply to any enquiries. They have the money and don't care. Incidentally the installer left large homes in an interior wall and a bare plumbing pipe. He also installed a drain pipe on the outlet which sounds like a trombone played badly. This is a firm it is difficult to recommend to anybody. I would suggest you avoid them
