Continuing complaint...my mother is not incontinent but nappies are always in her room and a plastic wet sheet is always in her bed. She has a bib put on her every meal time although is a tidy eater and does not dribble. Everyone is treated the same it seems. The guests are plonked in front of a droning TV. I suggested they play items from the guests era that they may relate to. I have had no feedback to 2 emails. They responded to my brother who has Enduring POA and has reduced our mother capital by 45% in 32 months but that's another problem. Any concerns put to the manager are considered as a personal attack. A therapy doll I provided my mum was removed and yet in the three days we spent with her she adored it, The home didnt even advise me. Easier to have them mindlessly gazing into space. They have one activities person - Ive never seen her do anything with my mum.
