Dreadful property managers especially Michael, as he does not reply to his emails about urgent repairs and maintenance. Prior to moving in, he also failed to turn up to his own viewing and offered no apology or explanation. He has also issued a complaint to the tenancy tribunal about unpaid bills etc., when in fact we got in contact with him and he admitted he had the incorrect details. Poor excuse, as I have changed the agreement in writing when we noticed the incorrect details, plus, we have called and emailed him numerous times before hand. In addition, Michael has breached the Residential Tenancies Act 1986 s24, i.e., rent increase. In the legislation it clearly states that rent may only be increased 180 days after commencement of move in date, but it was not 180 days and he sent a rent increase notice. Did not pick up calls when questioned. Untrustworthy property managers that ignores all forms of contact and obligations and threatens tenants by saying they know the law better than we d.
