I bought a Hilux from these guys. It was warranted and everything seemed sweet as. I was stupid enough not to get an independent mechanical check. Turns out the truck needed $1800 worth of work on the next warrant - a number of things were "borderline" according to my pretty trustworthy mechanic (have been using them for 10 years). The main surprise was perished brake hoses, these could have gone any time apparently and should not have passed a warrant. I drive over the Rimutakas to Carterton a fair bit...
