Non compliant with regard to delivery of shipment
On the 24th of May 2017 at around 8:15 I had booked a shipment to be delivered to Melbourne, Australia. My airway bill no:8259701531. As it was a very very urgent document AND THE DEADLINE to submit the application form was on Friday, the 26th, 2017, before the end of the day I was very much anxious and desperate for it to reach by that date. Your booking person had assured me that it would definitely reach the destination without fail and gave me the option to pay extra as a liability fee which I readily accepted. I gave her my work address for it be collected anytime after 9:30am from my work place at 61, Maunu road, Whangarei. As no one had Come to pick up the document till late forernoon I called up again and enquired and they asked me not to worry and that it would be picked up and promptly delivered on the 26th. I remember talking to one Alisha and then to Matt who reassured me that it would be delivered as promised. The document was later picked up and then later was brought back saying that I had to stick the airway tracking details after which the courier post person came and picked up late in the evening. I kept tracking all evening but there seemed no progress. I called up DHL that night and enquired about my document and I was told that my shipment was still in Whangarei and that it would not reach on the 26th . I had a sleepless night . The next day despite my busy schedule at work ( I just couldn't focus on my work), I had written a mail to you guys at 10:40am requesting you guys to treat at as high priority mail and see to it that it is delivered on the 26th. I receive a reply to that mail from Zayna Buksh, customer services and that was just thanking me for my enquiry!! I kept tracking my consignment every hour, disrupting my work, but no progress. I was in mental agony and had severe panic attacks that night thinking about the whole issue. The next day I call up your office and I would get a very unconvincing reply from all your staff. I then asked one of your customer service representative to put me to the head. I was then transferred to Kushla Bell who admitted that there was a mistake on their end and that they would not be able to deliver it as promised. I felt I was taken for a ride by your guys who claim that you are the number one courier in the world with prompt deliveries as promised. But I realized that I was deceived by you and feel cheated. I could not bear this disappointment and was broken at heart because it meant a lot to me. I would also like to point the callus and disinterested attitude of the entire team who could have done a great team work as I kept prompting them. This whole episode has eroded my great admiration for your services earned for many years. I need justice!
