Immagine New Zealand
Scam/False Advertising - be aware
I engaged this agency to apply me NZ Residency Visa from Singapore. Iain instead advise me to go to NZ as a tourist and look for job. He said they will help in finding a job there, through clients they had helped, references, market my resume, etc. He also mentioned that my field is in demand in NZ and almost impossible for me not to get a job but with their disclaimer "no guarantee". This is not the normal strategy I'm expecting they instruct me to do, but they said this is the fastest and will increase my points in getting the Residency Visa as my current point assessment was just average. So i quit my job and went there, they have not help me in getting a job according to my expectation. Iain no longer talked to me instead it was jo fourie. Job opportunities were not that much also as I expected, company's works in very slow on the hiring process. Companies were also discourage to hire a tourist(not legal to work) and they are not familiar with the process and paper works of hiring a tourist or they are lazy. I went back home and did not even finish my stay. Immagine had collected around 6 thousand NZD from me, fast cash for them. Not to mention my plane tickets, rentals, foods, etc while I'm in NZ. The cost of living there is also quite high compared to Singapore.I feel like I was scammed. Yes the company is legit but their strategy is somewhat scam in my case. Iain is just good in sales talking, I say this company is unreliable and untrustworthy.
